The gun is a Colt Government Model Mark IV/Series 70 with a five inch barrel. It comes with one magazine in the original box with the original paperwork. As I said, its totally enclosed by a plastic bag, still sealed, as from the factory. I could provide the serial number but for some reason people seem reluctant to do this. Picked this 97 year old Colt 1911 up today. Verified by serial number to have been issued (in a lot of 800) to the U.S. Marine Corps in October 1916. It has a good original barrel and is in good working condition. Pictures could have been better, usual glare.
